Christina Kim came to South Korea after graduating from university in Massachusetts in 2012 to teach English as a foreign language. At the start of 2020, she found herself burnt out from teaching and decided to pursue a career in the beauty industry, gaining makeup artist (daily, wedding, and stage makeup), esthetician, waxing, and eyelash extension skills and certifications from South Korean curriculums. Additionally, Christina Kim has a semipermanent makeup license, PCCS Personal Color license (South Korea and Japan system), and the KS Personal Color license (South Korean Standard system).
